Nov. 7 will mark another turn of the "Mass Effect" franchise' unofficial holiday, N7 Day, with this year's event set for some major information dump about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" according to BioWare; but it seems that fans will not have to endure a month-long drought of news until then as some updates will reportedly come N7 Day hits.
As September hits its end, so too will October begin which means that "Mass Effect" fans only have just a little over a month to go before what could possibly be the biggest information reveal about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" on Nov. 7 N7 Day. Until the day itself, however, fans will have the occasional "odd tidbit" according to a Twitter response post by BioWare creative director Mac Walters, as reported by Gamingbolt.
Walters was asked by a "Mass Effect" fan is they might be "getting any little tidbits of news" about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" in the days leading up to N7 Day on Nov. 7." Walters responded that "there may be the odd tidbit. Here and there..." which now begs the question of what the updates coming both before N7 Day hits and on the day itself.
It was previously reported that Walters also previously posted on Twitter to reveal some new details about the new protagonist taking over the mantle for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Walters was asked if there will be an announcement for the default name of the new protagonist Ryder coming this fall, a season which that N7 Day will fall squarely in.
Walters said that there indeed will be an announcement, adding that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" players will also be able to change Ryder's first name just like how they could with Commander Shepard's default names of John and Jane for both male and female characters. The announcement itself could either come before N7 Day or earlier since October and November are both well within the fall season timeline.
Another possible announcement is the game's release date, which might have possibly been leaked already. Details of the accompanying art book for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" were posted online, with the book's release date possibly being the same as that of the game itself based on previous art book releases by BioWare; though the release date is probably too meaty an information to release before N7 Day, the possibility still exists.
