Actress Joanna Garcia is expecting a girl.
The proud mom-to-be and her husband, baseball player Nick Swisher, confirmed the gender of their unborn baby to People magazine recently.
"I'm just so excited," the 32-year-old first baseman told People magazine. "As long as she's healthy, that's all I really care about."
After her split with fiancé Trace Ayala, Garcia started dating Swisher in 2009. The couple got engaged in 2010 and tied the knot the following year. The celebrity couple announced expecting their first child in November 2012.
During the chat, the "Reba" star also talked about her craving for mayonnaise in her pregnancy diet.
"I tried to put it on everything but that faded," Garcia explained to the magazine. "Now I'm just trying to eat healthy and you know, the further I get in the pregnancy the more I need to eat!"
The expecting parents, busy preparing for their daughter's arrival, have planned nurseries in three different cities.
"My husband works in one city, I work in a second city and we live in a third city, so we have a lot of cribs to buy," the actress said.
The couple is impatiently waiting to meet their little bundle of joy, who is due in spring.
"It's been a wonderful journey for us to be able to do this together," the proud papa-to-be told People. "It's going to be great. In a couple of months, our lives are going to turn upside-down."
