Formula1 iconic driver, Michael Schumacher went through an unlikely fate as he was involved in a ski accident which left in paralyzed. Three years after the dreadful accident, Michael Schumacher's condition remains the same as he is still unable to walk.
Michael Schumacher went on a ski trip with his son Mick Schumacher on December 29, 2013. The race car driver then got into an accident where he fell head on a rock in the French Alps. Luckily, Michael Schumacher was wearing a helmet. It did not, however, manage to fully protect him as he ended up in a brain coma.
Michael Schumacher was placed in a medically induced coma for almost three months after suffering from brain injury. He was then allowed to go home after six months, which was in September 2014.
Michael Schumacher's family remained mum in regards to his recovery. His fans have little to no update in terms of his medical condition, but people close to him would manage to give tidbits in terms of his health status to the press every chance they'd get.
iTech Post revealed that the Foormula1 driver is undergoing home treatments with his medical team. One of the most recent updates was from Gerd Krämer, Michael Schumacher's first sponsor and former chief of sports marketing for Mercedes .
According to Daily Express, Gerd Krämer revealed that Schumacher is in a "difficult situation. He then added that it is still unsure if he will still be seen in the public eyes.
"He is in a more than difficult situation, and it would take a miracle to see him in public again. He is completely shielded by his family," Gerd Krämer said.
Aside from Gerd Krämer, Michael Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, also mentioned that the F1 driver is still placed in a grave situation. Kehm then slammed the false allegations that were released in regards to the F1 driver's health status.
"The assertion that Michael could move again is not true. Such speculation is irresponsible, because, given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important for Michael. Unfortunately, they also give false hopes to many involved people."
