Hollywood A-List couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt called it quits after 13 years of being together. The public's yes are on them as Angelina only cited "irreconcilable difference" as their divorce grounds amidst cheating speculations. News then broke out that the couple's kids are highly affected by their parent's divorce.

Angelina Jolie-Pitt filed a divorce against his husband, Brad Pitt on September 20, 2016, according to Parent Herald. The couple has been linked to several divorce rumors which they continually slammed until Angelina Jolie officially announced their divorce process. Fans were shocked upon hearing the news as they were two of Hollywood's best couple since their relationship started to bud.

Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt may not have a prenup agreement when it comes to their properties, but what bothers them the most are their kids. It was recently revealed that the Jolie-Pitt kids were caught in a situation which divided their kids.

An insider from In Touch Weekly revealed that the kids were caught between both their parents. Maddox and Pax took their mother's side as they felt the need to protect her. As for Zahara, Shiloh, and the twins, however, it was revealed that they wanted their father to go home as they badly missed him.

"Angie said Brad loses his temper with the kids a lot and that there is drinking and drug use," the source said. "The younger kids - Zahara, Shiloh, and the twins - all told DCFS they missed their dad. Maddox and Pax didn't express that sentiment and seem to think they are tasked with being their mother's protector."

A child's response to divorce may vary, though there are some that are mature enough to understand the situation, younger children may find it hard to understand their parent's situation. Divorce can be traumatic for a child, this both parents should work together in making sure that their child's welfare is being placed on one of the top priorities.
