The "Sparks" singer Hilary Duff, 27, just released her album "Breathe In. Breath Out." on Tuesday. Despite being occupied with work, the former "Lizzie McGuirre" star was very excited and happy as she shared the milestones of her little man with E! Online.
The singer-actress was very proud of her son. She was all smiles as she talked about Luca and the amazing things he does. She said that she is very entertained with her son's questions, ideas and actions that she perceived herself to be so lucky having Luca and the whole experience.
Duff was at first hesitant to have a baby boy, ET has learned. She was not sure of what she should do with her little bundle of joy, but as he grows up she felt like she was meant for Luca. Duff said, "I really feel like he chose me."
Duff spends her days full of love and joy watching the little man grow up. Their fun activities include reading books, roughhousing and wrestling, ET has learned.
According to Duff, Luca turned 3 in March and he was a very easy child. At Luca's age, Duff never encountered problems in potty training the child. Duff told E! Online that she did not force Luca on doing so, but waited until her little man will show interest. To encourage Luca even more, she mentioned to his little boy that his older and cooler cousins are trained in the same way and the said strategy worked. Duff added that the little boy loves to play every day.
However, despite the success Duff's made in the music industry, she thinks her son would not follow her path, neither his father's career in hockey. The little man has his own music and she kept it in her playlist. The singer shared little Luca's interests which include cars and planes.
Duff and husband, Mike Comrie, separated last year, but their relationship was never an issue when it comes to Luca. They even celebrated Luca's birthday in March together. While other parents fight over full custody of their children, Duff said she and her husband is a "strong team" when it comes to co-parenting Luca. It was not easy according to the singer-actress, but they try to keep things as normal as possible.
Duff said, "I wouldn't say we have a cordial relationship, I would say we have a really strong friendship and a lot of love for one another." She added, "We're a family, and we're always going to be a family."
Although Duff is active on "Tinder" and have dated several times, she is not that frantic to find new love. Right now, she is busy with her new album and is focused on working out.
