The most anticipated show "Prison Break" Season 5 is coming back and with the whole gang coming to save Michael Scofield. While the show will be a sequel and will be a continuation to where the series left off but it is still uncertain on whether the show will have a new name title.
Fox Co-Chairman and CEO Dana Walden talks about "Prison Break" Season 5 and Fox' plans to about the upcoming show. According to Walden, the show will be more of a sequel and will pick up years after Season 4.
Wentworth Miller who plays Michael Scofield will be back with Dominic Purcell who plays Lincoln Burrows. They will also be joined by other cast favorites such as Sarah Wayne Callies, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper and Wade Williams.
However, people are also wondering how they would introduce Michael Scofield being alive since on Season 4, he had a tumor and he was even electrocuted. Although, "Prison Break" did not show if Scofield died but most are assuming that he is already dead because of how the show ended.
To not confuse the fans, "Prison Break" Season 5 will not go to that plot point, will just ignore his death as if it did not happen on Season 4, and will just concentrate on how to free Michael from prison. According to Hulu Mag, the Fox CEO will provide a plot for Michael's survival that is logical and believable.
The first episode of "Prison Break" Season 5 will begin with T-Bag discovering that Michael is alive. He informs Michael's brother, Lincoln that Michael is in a Morocco prison. With the help of the Fox River Eight, they will form a plan to help Michael escape from the Morocco prison.
However, it is not just going to be one prison they are escaping. This time, Michael and his friends will need to escape a country where most are hunting them.
"Prison Break" Season 5 is still in production with Dominic Purcell updating their fans on Instagram about the development of the show. It is expected, however, that "Prison Break" Season 5 will be aired on 2017.
