There's a lot that fans expect from Disney's live action take on "Beauty and the Beast" starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens. With increasing anticipation, fans have been treated to glimpses of the film --which debuts in theaters in March 2017 -- through teasers and photo releases.
The latest of these teasers from "Beauty and the Beast" come in the form of a photo with Emma Watson's Belle and Dan Steven's Beast in full costume. There is also a photo of Belle from a scene in the movie, which depicts how the movie has followed the 1991 animated version almost to the detail.
Daily Mail reports that the photos might either be a mock up for "Beauty and the Beast" or actual stills from the film. Disney has not made the releases official and yet it's been shared a number of times by eager fans on social media.
In the first photo, Emma Watson is seen wearing the iconic yellow ball gown for Belle and Dan Stevens' full look as the Beast has finally been revealed. Consequence of Sounds cites that the Beast's appearance on "Beauty and the Beast" might need more fine tuning with the CGI as he rather looks like a cartoon character from "South Park." Check out Belle and Beast below. What do you think?
The second photo shows Emma Watson's Belle at the library in the castle, which fans of the "Beauty and the Beast" animation might be familiar with. This particular shot is straight out of a scene from the 1991 film that the 2017 film has followed. Many have said that Emma Watson as Belle is the perfect choice and this photo further supports the observation.
"Beauty and the Beast" is just one of Disney's live action releases of late. The studio still has a dozen of reboots based on its previous animated movies to churn out in the next three years.
However, "Beauty and the Beast" is much anticipated because of the caliber of the original animation that earned an Oscar Best Picture nomination in in the early 90s. It's been 25 years since this movie came out and the majestic tale as old as time still remains a favorite among many Disney fans today.
