During Father's Day, children highlight the best memories they have with their dads. This occasion crosses time and distance because it can be celebrated regardless if one's father is around or not. Among the children who paid tribute to their late dads is Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow.
Meadow, 16, has shared several sweet photos of her dad since Paul died in a car crash in November 2013. Prior to the throwback picture she posted for Father's day, the teen posted another throwback photo in April in which she could be seen sitting and smiling on her father's lap, People reports.
In a separate report from People, the said throwback picture was undated and uncaptioned. On the "Fast & Furious" actor's anniversary death, the sweet daughter posted another photo of her dad holding her when she was still a baby with the caption "I love you".
Meadow obviously misses her dad and she celebrated Father's day along with other children who still have the chance to hug and kiss their dads by posting another throwback picture of her with her dad on Instagram.
Meadow was still a baby in the photo and she could be seen wrapping arms around her dad's neck. Paul could be seen kissing the smiling toddler. Many shared Meadows sentiments and the touching photo gained over 66,000 likes.
Meadow's attachment to her dad could be the result of how Paul took care and made his daughter feel protected and happy.
Cody, 26, Paul's younger brother and the new brand manager for Paul's disaster relief organization Reach Out Worldwide, told People in another report, "Aside from acting, his daughter [Meadow, 16] and ROWW were the most important things in his life, hands down."
Paul's younger brother looked up to him and was all praises on the many passions Paul had in his life aside from cars. The famous actor of the "Fast & Furios" movie, preferred to remain anonymous when it comes to his humanitarian deeds. Cody shared that Paul was adventurous, spontaneous, obsessive-compulsive and was overall a good example for him.
Cody also revealed that Paul has a unique touch of making someone feel important regardless if the person was a long-time friend or just an acquaintance.
Meadow was not the only daughter who greeted her late dad on social media. In a report from Mail Online, Kim Kardashian also remembered her late dad, Robert Kardashian.
Kim posted two photos of her and her dad: one with her sister Kourtney with Robert between them and the second one during her first day of school.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" actress wrote on Instagram, "Happy Fathers Day to the best dad in the world! It's been over a decade since you've been gone but the memories run so deep they will last forever! Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing dads out there!"
