'Frozen' 2 News Update: Disney 'Frozen' Star Elsa Has A Girlfriend, Says Idina Menzel?

"Frozen" fans will be shocked for Elsa's new secret: a Disney character girlfriend. Nope, Elsa won't be with Jack Frost nor Ice King, whom everyone shipped with the blonde "Frozen" princess.

The internet has been full of fandoms requesting Disney for "Frozen" star Elsa to have a girlfriend. Idina Menzel, who is the voice behind Elsa, recently revealed on an interview with Tyler Oakley in his Ellen Digital Network Show who she thinks might be Elsa's girlfriend: Tinkerbell, according to E! News.

Idina Menzel and Kirsten Bell, who voiced Elsa's sister Anna in "Frozen," recently were guests at the show where the host was clearly into questioning about Elsa's rumoured girlfriend. Idina Menzel and Kirsten Bell both kept mum about the "Frozen" rumors and just said they supported whatever decision Elsa has to make.

"I think in Frozen 1, she was young so she's still figuring stuff out," said "Rent" actress Idina Menzel. But the Broadway actor said she could not "confirm nor deny" anything.

There had been a Twitter campaign with the #GiveElsaAGirlfriend by LGBT communities for Elsa to have a girlfriend back in May, reported Huffington Post. If granted, Elsa will be the first Disney princess to be part of the LGBT community.

But of course, this is far-fetched and there's a very slim chance Disney would grant this. "I can't promise anybody that that's what's gonna happen," said Idina Menzel.

The "Glee" actress said she is happy and excited with how her character in "Frozen" sparked the conversations online. "Deep down am I really happy that it's causing people to talk about it and have these kinds of conversations? Yeah, I am," Idina Menzel added.

Disney failed in a GLAAD test of how LGBTs are represented in movies. The organization do this every year to studios and found out the Disney did not use any LGBT character in any of its movies, according to another E! News report.
