NBA Latest News: Chris Bosh Reuniting With LeBron James In Cleveland Cavaliers This February?

Chris Bosh remains to be the center of rumors despite the playoffs for the 2016-2017 NBA Season starting and the latest report involving him is about reuniting with LeBron James. Accordingly, Bosh is set to join James this February in Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bosh has been on the headlines since it was announced by the president of Miami Heat, Pat Riley, that his career with the NBA team is already over. This is due to the fact that he has not been playing for Miami Heat for the past two seasons due to his health issues, specifically blood clot. His physical was not cleared and Miami Heat had to end their ties with the player.

Bosh will reportedly sign a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers and be with his former teammate once he is allowed to enter into another agreement, and that is by February, Sportsrageous reported. Miami Heat cannot waive Bosh yet but when February comes, he will be eligible to sign with any team as long as he gets cleared by the doctors of the team he would want to join.

Miami Heat could only waive Bosh this February because as per the NBA rules, the player's anniversary of his last game will be an exception. He last played on February 9, 2016 when Miami Heat went against San Antonio Spurs.

It will not be called a trade since no other players are involved. No team will be parting ways with their players in order to acquire Bosh if the reports are true that he will be signing a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers this February.

iSports Times also reported that Cleveland Cavaliers acquiring Bosh would be great if he gets cleared as he could play as back-up for Kevin Love. Basketball analysts believe that Bosh could win a ring or two in Cleveland Cavaliers then retire.

There have been no confirmations about this yet. Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James, or Chris Bosh have not commented on the matter.
