'Cool For the Summer' Singer Demi Lovato Disses Taylor Swift, Squad; Disney Channel Star To Rest in 2017?

Demi Lovato, feminist and body positivity advocate, recently announced that she is taking a break from the industry in 2017. This after she called out "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer Taylor Swift over her "Bad Blood" song and Tay-Tay's squad.

The "Confident" singer said in an interview with Glamour that she does not see anybody from "Style" singer Taylor Swift's squad who has realistic body that could be people's inspiration. "It's kind of this false image of what people should look like. And what they should be like, and it's not real," Demi Lovato added.

Taylor Swift's squad include girl of Zayn Malik and model Gigi Hadid, models Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss, among others. While others wish to join in what people consider as a group worth joining Demi Lovato opted not to be one of them.

The 24-year-old singer even delve into a deeper bad blood with "Shake It Off" singer Taylor Swift when she called out the latter for her song "Bad Blood." People believe that the song is about "Roar" singer Katy Perry who the blonde singer was allegedly referring to in her song.

In an interview, "Red" singer Taylor Swift said that her song "Bad Blood" was inspired by a person who unprofessionally tried to get one of her back up dancers. Demi Lovato found this as "not women's empowerment."

Of course Swifties rushed to defend their queen with some people saying Demi Lovato has gone too far. The "Skyscraper" singer also blasted a teen fan's artwork saying she does not look like the one on the artwork.

Demi Lovato posted on social media that she is taking a break in 2017. "I am not meant for this business and the media," tweeted the Disney Channel star. Demi Lovato went to say she would rather do charity work, as reported by People.
