Killer Clown Update: Teenager’s Made Up Story Throws Her To Jail

Alexsandra Conley, 18, is now facing charges for filing an untruthful police report. Authorities said that Conley lied when she told them that she was attacked by a clown with a knife Saturday morning. Later on they found out it was just her excuse for not losing her job.

WCPO Cincinnati reported that according to police, Conley called them Saturday morning, around six o'clock. She told them that a clown jumped over a fence, waved a knife at her and slit her left thumb in Jefferson and Southern Avenue.

She described to the police what her attacker looked like. WCPO Cincinnati noted that according to Conley, the attacker is a man with red wig, wearing a clown custom, with teardrop at his left cheek and wearing white facial makeup.

However, after a thorough investigation, police investigators claim they found out irregularities in her story. Later on, Conley admitted that she just made up the story as she was late to her work and didn't want to lose the job, police said to WCPO Cincinnati.

"After an in-depth investigation, several inconsistencies were found in her story," police said in a statement to Cincinnati. "As a result we have now confirmed that her report was false and she has admitted that she made up the story because she was running late for work and didn't want to lose her job," the police added.

According to Yahoo, Conley was found no phone numbers. Thus, it could not be known whether she has a lawyer.

It is not identified whether Conley is still working at McDonald's, according to Huffingtonpost. Nevertheless, police from Cincinnati suburb of Reading charged her with one count of filing dishonest report.

Scott Snow, the chief of police in Reading, said to Cincinnati that this case was not connected to the reported attack last Friday morning, which caused the closing of some Reading schools. He also added that the incident is still under investigation.
