A recent survey was released showing what people think are the salaries of the cast of the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones" receives. As per the estimate, Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington are the highest paid among all of the actors and actresses who are part of "Game of Thrones."
Yibada reported that the fans of "Game of Thrones" speculated that the main cast of the hit HBO series received a huge paycheck for all the hard work they have been doing for the show. The survey was conducted by Variety and it is believed that Clarke and Harington each have an estimated salary of $500,000 per episode.
Clarke plays the role of the Queen of Dragons Daenerys while Harington plays the role of the much-loved resurrected warrior, Jon Snow.
Aside from Clarke and Harington, it is believed that Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are paid a lot of money per episode but what fans think of how much they are making has not been revealed by the publication which did the survey. It was stated in the article, however, that Headey, who plays the role of Cersei Lannister on "Game of Thrones," Dinklage, who acts as Tyrion Lannister, and Coster-Waldau, as Jamie Lannister, will all be receiving $3.5 million in total for the seven-episode Season of "Game of Thrones."
It remains unclear, however, if the salaries of these actors and actresses for "Game of Thrones" will increase in Season 8.
Express also reported that other shows were surveyed by Variety and "Gilmore Girls" actresses, Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, are pegged to be receiving $750,000 per episode. The two plays the roles of the mother and daughter duo on the show, Lorelai and Rory.
More on "Game of Thrones," actress Sophie Turner, playing the role of Sansa Stark, that after Season 7, there will be the last and final episode but she teased that not all of them will be seen in the finale. Clarke was also recently interviewed and she shared that "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is explosive and might just top Season 6.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be out by 2017 but no specific date has been released yet. It was supposed to be out earlier but "Game of Thrones" Season 7 coming back to the small screen has been delayed due to some conditions to be met regarding shooting and the weather.
