Scott Cawthon is set to release the "Five Nights at Freddy's" spinoff today. Unfortunately, days before the scheduled release of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location," Cawthon announced that the title is delayed.
However, reports have it that fans are not buying Cawthon's announcement. Is the "FNAF" creator prepping for a huge surprise and is just misleading his audience or is it true that there are some issues that need to be fixed?
One of the great things that "FNAF" fans love about Scott Cawthon is his dedication in the games he designs and creates. In fact, in several occasions, he releases his games prior to the scheduled release date. In short, delaying the release date was never an issue in the "Five Nights at Freddy's" franchise, until in its spinoff, "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location."
According to CinemaBlend,"Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" has to be delayed. Per the report, Scott Cawthon feels that the "FNAF: Sister Location" should be a horror game and not kid friendly. The "FNAF" creator and designer announced that since the current content is not what it was supposed to be he will release the "mature" version at a later time.
In his post in Steam, Scott Cawthon announced that he is torn between releasing a game that doesn't meet his standards to please the waiting "FNAF" fans or to take his time and release something that will surely please everyone.
Scott Cawthon explained that the "FNAF" franchise has grown so much. So he decided to release "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" in chapters. Cawthon is asking the "FNAF" fans to wait for more months to get the game they want.
However, per Ecumenical News, "FNAF" fans are not buying Scott Cawthon's announcement. Many think that this is another troll from the "FNAF" creator.
Scott Cawthon once posted an update about "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" in his website, where he teases that the game was canceled. However, we learned that the post needs to be deciphered and should not be taken literally.
Do you believe that "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" will be delayed? Are you still hoping that the announcement was another troll from Scott Cawthon and that the "FNAF" spinoff will be out today? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
