"Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow," a "Mr. Robot" series tie-in book, is expected to unveil on Oct. 7 at the BookCon which will be held in New York City. The book is suggested to reveal answers to the secrets of "Mr. Robot" Season 2.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed the exclusive first page of "Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow" which is apparently similar to Elliot Alderson's (Rami Malek) personal journal on "Mr. Robot" Season 2. What's interesting is that the notes found on the page were written by no other than Hot Carla (Eve Lindley), the one who burned the book on "Mr. Robot" Season 2.
While Hot Carla was not given much spotlight on "Mr. Robot" Season 2, she seems to know some important information about Elliot as revealed on the notes from "Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow." The note stated, "It was nice to think this journal was something only between Elliot and me, but I know you deserve to read it too. Maybe knowing him a little bit better will change you like it changed me."
"Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow" was written by "Mr. Robot" Executive Producer Sam Esmail and series writer Courtney Looney. Entertainment Weekly reported that the book will come with seven artifacts that can be removed, including newspaper clippings and ripped out pages for fans to unlock some clues into Elliot's personality.
"Mr. Robot" fans who will join New York Comic Con will have the opportunity to get an exclusive advance copy of "Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow." They can also line up to have the "Mr. Robot" BookCon panel sign their books.
"Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow" was initially announced at the San Diego Comic Con. The official release date of the book is slated on Nov. 1 which will be distributed by Abrams Books.
