"The Last Kingdom" tells the story of England when it was divided into seven kingdom, particularly in the view of Uhtred. He was orphaned in a war and was captured and raised by a Danish warlord as his own. When Ragnar, the Danish lord, was killed along with his family, Uhtred finds himself being a suspect and had to flee. He came to a resolve that he would fight for his birth right. To do so, he needs to gain power and wealth. He pledged his sword to King Alfred, and as he continues with his journey, his loyalty will be tested.
Based on the best-selling series "The Saxon Stories" by Bernard Cornwell, "The Last Kingdom" is produced by Carnival Films. It stars Alexander Dreymon, the lead character Uhtred of Bebbanburg.
