"Wasteland 3" is now on its way as is it already reached its funding goal within just 3 days. The game developer inXile Entertainment said that "Wasteland 3" is currently in pre-production as they launched an actual gameplay footage trailer.
According to the PC Gamer, after releasing the Wasteland 3 Fig Website, which is for a crowd funding purpose, inXile Entertainment officially hit the target goal of $2.75 million. The fund had already reached more than $2.8 million of the moment this article is published.
Aside from that $2.8 million confirmed crowdfund, inXile Entertainment also has almost 14,000 backers who pledged to provide a certain amount in exchange for a "Wasteland 3" reward. The crowdfunding is up until November 4th of this year.
The Gamespot reported that inXile Entertainment has extended its goal now to $3.1 million for the "Wasteland 3" since they have more than 20 days to go. In return, inXile Entertainment will be promised to put some Wasteland 3 features that will align to the designated goal.
Once reached the $2.85 million mark, the "Wasteland 3" ranger customization will be unlocked like body types and heads. Equipped miscellaneous items will also be shown. Hitting $3 million mark will unlock the "Wasteland 3" talking car. The "Wasteland 3" talking car had a name called Morningstar. A companion that will give an ease to traveling throughout the Wasteland 3. And if the $3.1 million mark hits, the "Wasteland 3" Ranger Squad Insignia will be unlocked.
"Wasteland 3" will feature a new wide-branching dialog system. Similar to the Wasteland 2, conversation skills will affect how many options you could have within the dialog system.
"Wasteland 3" will be present in a post-apocalyptic setting, using the same battle system with a new additional game mechanics. Vehicles will be used for transportation, storage, upgradable and can be used as cover during battle.
"Wasteland 3" is a much awaited tactical-strategy game. With the success of the previous Wasteland 2, the upcoming "Wasteland 3" is sure to be a hard hitter once it is released.
