Release date for "The Winds Of Winter" ("TWOW") from "A Song Of Ice And Fire" ("ASOIF") saga author George R.R. Martin may be expected for 2018. While George R.R. Martin expressed hope for "The Winds Of Winter" release before "Game Of Thrones" Season 6 premiered on HBO, "TWOW" logically has until 2018 before it is officially delayed.
As wait for "The Winds Of Winter" continues, "ASOIF" fans and "Game Of Thrones" followers have been scavenging to unearth the secret ties in Westeros. "ASOIF" and "Game Of Thrones" theories have been trying to stay ahead of what the HBO series and "The Winds Of Winter" will reveal.
"Game Of Thrones" and "ASOIF" fan enthusiasm for the advent of "The Winds Of Winter" is such that "TWOW" is now viewed as a much delayed delivery by George R.R. Martin. However, the commitment George R.R. Martin made to deliver "The Winds Of Winter" in December 31 2015, as The Guardian reports, would have been a very expedited delivery of "TWOW."
Parent Herald cites Newsweek in pointing out how each "A Song Of Ice And Fire" book is longer than the previous "ASOIF" novel. George R.R. Martin began "A Song Of Ice And Fire" with 704 pages of "A Game Of Thrones."
"A Song Of Ice And Fire" incrementally grew with each novel until "A Dance With Dragons" came to 1040 pages. If George R.R. Martin follows this pattern, "The Winds Of Winter" should bring the most number pages of all "ASOIF" novels.
Naturally, production work for each "A Song Of Ice And Fire" novel would have also have lengthened over time as Newsweek highlights. Particularly after "A Storm of Swords" in 2000 George R.R. Martin began to require longer work periods.
George R.R. Martin released "Feast For Crows" in 2005 and "A Dance With Dragons" in 2011. "The Winds Of Winter" then by rights should be right on time if George R.R. Martin releases the sixth "A Song Of Ice And Fire" novel in 2018.
NME cites reports that George R.R. Martin is also juggling work on "The Winds Of Winter" and a few other commitments. Still, George R.R. Martin could well surprise fans and release "The Winds Of Winter" on March 9, 2017 as Amazon France announced.
