Hollywood superstar couple Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel have spilled the beans on their plans to expand their family as well as their thoughts for son Axl's future.
In an interview shared by AOL, the celebrities admitted they would like a different career path for their 2-year-old son. While the pair admitted they won't promote showbiz, if that's what their son is interested in, they won't prohibit it.
The 42-year-old actor and "Bravetown" star was quoted saying, "Oh, I don't know about [putting him in show business]. I'm going to hold off on that for as long as possible. I want him to have a good education and a normal childhood first and if he wants to do it down the road he can, but we're not pushing him towards that."
Fergie and Josh Adding to Their Family?
One of the rumors surrounding the couple is that they're having a second child. It's been reported that Fergie, 40, and Josh are trying to have kids but it's also rumored that they are looking to adopt.
Duhamel has opened up about his family's plans to expand their family: "Definitely when things slow down a little bit - it's going to be a while..." Duhamel admitted.
Last week it was circulating online that A-listers were going to adopt. OK Magazine reports that the adoption process is underway as the couple "thinks it's the right time to expand their family."
With the cancellation of Duhamel's latest CBS show, "Battle Creek," he'll have a lot of time to spend with his family.
Recently, Duhamel shared his experience as a dad whose son has discovered sweets. People reports that at 22 months, the son of the "Black Eyed Peas" singer and "Transformers" actor has quite the sweet tooth.
"[He's] discovered candy, which we're hoping to stay off as long as possible," revealed the actor to People. Josh and Fergie are reportedly trying to monitor and manage his intake. They're "only trying to give him on special occasions."
Fergie and Josh have been married for six years and their son Axl turns two this August.
