iPhone Rumors, Release, Latest News Update: iPhone 8, iPhone 10 To Be Released In 2017?

Apple is celebrating in 2017 their 10th anniversary and with that, expect to see something special from them. Will the iPhone series be followed by the iPhone 8 or maybe an iPhone 10?

Barclays analyst Mark Moskowitz said that an "overhauled" iPhone 8 will come out next year, according to Mac Rumors. This year, Apple made a breakthrough by releasing to the market the iPhone 7, which was the first to have no headphone jack in the iPhone series.

Aside from that, the iPhone 8 was rumoured to have the wireless charging feature. Apple will also be dropping the "S" in the series, leaving the next unit as just iPhone 8.

"Our conversations with industry participants suggest Apple could skip the "S" cycle next year and instead jump to Iphone 8," said Mark Moskowitz. He also said that they expect sales to be up by 10.3% next year.

iPhone 8's wireless charging feature can benefit those who hate wires that always end up getting tangled. Just like the headphones that were left cordless, Apple might consider getting another business at organizing.

iPhone 8, however, was predicted to have no home button, according to Business Insider. A fingerprint scanner would be integrated in the front surface of the cell phone. An OLED display is also expected for the iPhone 8.

An iPhone 8 without the home button would be another breakthrough for Apple, as their front surface is known as being simple and minimalist. The iPhone 8 would be getting a chip that would enable a touch-ID screen, one of the reasons the iPhone could leave the home button.

John Gruber of the Daring Fireball said the iPhone 10 would not have borders, making the whole face of the unit just screens. The iPhone 10 will also have an all glass body, according to an analyst, Ming Chi Kuo.

No home button will also be pushed for the iPhone 10. The home button will be "embedded" on the front surface. And as started this year, the next iPhones would not have the headphone jack as well.
