Fans are patiently waiting for the return of "Fuller House" in its second season. The show's launch date on the Netflix streaming platform has been set for Friday, Dec. 9. Apart from following up on the Tanner-Fuller family, viewers can look forward to a bevy of special guests, cameos and returning characters. So, who's dropping by on "Fuller House" Season 2? Here's a comprehensive rundown below.
"Fuller House" Legacy cast member Lori Loughlin confirmed that Bruno Tonioli from "Dancing with the Stars" is going to make a cameo in "Fuller House" Season 2. However, it is not clear what the judge's role will be in the family comedy. "I think Candace asked him to come on and do a guest spot," Lori Loughlin revealed, Hollywood Life reports.
Back in August, TV Line reported that '90s boy band New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) will also be visiting the Tanner-Fuller house in the second season. The episode will feature DJ's (Candace Cameron Bure) birthday celebration and the band will be her friends' last-minute gift surprise.
However, it looks like the NKOTB will be one member less during their "Fuller House" Season 2 cameo. New York Daily News reports Donnie Wahlberg seems to be missing from the band's reunion photos, which was shared on Jordan Knight's Instagram.
Meanwhile, "Fuller House" Season 2 will also feature Alan Thicke, who played a famous TV dad in the 80s series "Growing Pains." E! Online reported that the actor announced his guest appearance on social media even as Netflix remained mum about it.
Fans should also expect the appearance of Hal Sparks on "Fuller House" Season 2. The actor will play a recurring character from the original show "Full House," as DJ's former boyfriend, Nelson. Entertainment Weekly reports that the role of Nelson used to be played by Jason Marsden. However, the actor had conflicts with his schedule, thus the production had to recast his part and landed with Sparks.
Catch "Fuller House" Season 2 when its full 13 episodes will be out on Netflix on Friday, Dec. 9. In the meantime, check out the cast talking about what it's like to work together during the show's first season in the video below.
