Kim Kardashian has a warning to criminals wanting to repeat the Paris heist, where she lost her £3.5-million engagement ring among other things: You may end up dead because she beefed up her security to that of the President's level.
Her new security detail will include "armed to teeth" former members of the Secret Service, sources told TMZ. The Secret Service is one of the United States' federal investigative law enforcement agencies assigned to protect the President, Vice President and their immediate family members, among others. The report said Kim would also have at least two body guards wherever she goes and would be transported via an "armored car."
The reality show superstar reportedly also met with ex-Special Force members of the Israeli Army, former agents of the Central Intelligence Agency and the Secret Service. Her husband, Kanye West, talked with the executives of two top security firms, the TMZ report said.
Her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, deleted all mentions of Kim Kardashian from his social media but still works for the family. A video from People, showed Duvier working as a security for Kanye West's "Saint Pablo" tour in Chicago.
"Pascal still works for them," a source told People. "He isn't irreplaceable though. The family really likes him, but he is not a family member. The new media report isn't making a difference for the family right now. But Kanye is evaluating his family's needs. He is ultimately the one who decides what happens with Pascal."
Reality show superstar Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint by five men who dressed as police officers inside her Parisian apartment on Oct. 3. She told reports she "feared she was about to be raped" as the gang pointed a gun to her head.
Kim was reportedly gagged, handcuffed and dumped in the bathtub before the robbers fled with around £9 million in cash, jewelleries - including the 20-carat diamond engagement ring worth £3.5 million - and two of Kim's favorite phones, The Sun reported.
After Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld blamed the 35-year-old mother for flaunting her wealth, Kim took a month off from work and stopped posting on her social media accounts. Kim Kardashian, who was listed No. 42 on Forbes magazines' Highest Paid Celebrities, has 84.8 million followers on Instagram and 48.4 million on Twitter.
