'The Voice' Season 11: Monday's Battle Rounds, Considered As Toughest Judging So Far!

Monday's performance on "The Voice" especially that of Team Alicia's Christian Cuevas and Jason Warrior was considered one for the books. It definitely was a tough call not only for Alicia but for other judges as well. They gave a beautiful and soulful rendition of Hello by Adele, a song which is considered very challenging to sing. From a recent post shared by Bustle, Alicia Keys said that her hands hurt because she banged it so hard. This is for making the toughest decision she had to make as a coach.

For both Jason and Christian, "The Voice" coach Alicia Keys chose a new singer in the person of Charlie Puth as their mentor. While other coaches chose seasoned and technical singers to guide and assist performers of their team, Alicia went for what she considers fresh meat and contemporary. This decision paid off since both Christian and Jason delivered a performance considered to be mind-boggling.

With Billboard considering this performance as chill-inducing on "The Voice", everyone in the audience even the coaches were on their feet to show pride and astonishment. The song ended and the decision was made. Christian was declared as the winner for the battle round. Jason will not go home with a heavy heart though. Before Alicia Keys made her final decision she asked the remaining coaches to save the person who won't be chosen. As Jason was not the choice of Alicia, it was Adam Levine who saved him.

Definitely one of the most interesting shows seen on battle rounds. Both Christian and Jason gave the remaining contestants tough time as they have to perform at par or even better. This performance definitely did the "The Voice" very well as it sat well on ratings and people are talking about it endlessly on social media. Congratulations to both Christian and Jason. Surely, viewers will be glued to their TVs eagerly waiting for the next round of performances.
