As of writing, Apple has yet to confirm when the exact MacBook Pro 2016 release date. Speculations are rife that the new laptops will be released this year, but the Cupertino based tech giant has kept a tight lip about its unveiling.
It was previously rumored that the new MacBook Pro 2016 could get an October 2016 release date, if not an update about its current state. Tech insiders have claimed that Apple is gearing up for an October event that will reportedly unveil their newest offerings, suggesting that the Pro could be part of their line-up.
However, new reports have started to surface claiming that the said October 2016 event has been postponed to November. As University Herald noted, Apple has rescheduled its calls for fourth quarter earnings making the rumored October event unnecessary.
The MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to be released alongside a slew of other Apple gadgets like a new standalone monitor and an upgraded iMac desktop. Reports are also claiming that the new MacBook Air 2016 will debut together with the new Pro.
It was previously speculated that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will formally replace the MacBook Air. However, a new report from Forbes claims that along with the release of the new Pro, tech junkies will also see the unveiling of the new Air.
Meanwhile, University Herald also noted that the new MacBook could be launched with the new iPhone 8. Although the iPhone 7 was just recently launched, Google's recent launch of its very own Pixel phone was seen as a mockery by Apple that they've decided to release a new iPhone in the same year. The speculation sounds more fabricated than true, but reports are claiming that it's not impossible for the tech giant to release another iPhone earlier than expected.
