Everything You Need To Know About Oculus Rift; Specs, Release Date & Controller Price

Virtual Reality Headsets are the trend these days and this all started after the company Oculus VR, launched their Kickstarter project in 2012. It was first released in the United States on March 28 and in the United Kingdom, October 10.

According to PC Advisor, the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset available in the United Kingdom includes a controller for Xbox with a game and a Windows 10 support system. This gadget is becoming the talk of the town now due to its exclusive Oculus Touch controller, which won't be available till November of this year.

But what exactly is the Oculus Rift? It is virtual reality headset, which means you could wear it on your head covering your eyes. Imagine wearing sunglasses only this one allows you to play games while wearing it. You would be able to view your screen directly from these glasses. It is like wearing 3D glasses. But this one would operate even better with a touch controller.

Based on Tech Crunch's report, the Oculus Touch is sold separately for $199 and unfortunately, it won't be available until November. However, those who couldn't wait to get their hands on it could pre-order it now. Another catch here though is that its shipping won't be available until December 6. It is up to you if you want to wait until November to buy it or pre-order it, but would wait even longer for it to be shipped.

Oculus VR's project was proven successful after it has made about $2.5 million from their Kickstarter campaign. Eventually, Facebook took the lead and finally bought the company itself for $2 billion. Are you excited as well to purchase the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset? What are your expectations from it and do you think that it is reasonable to buy it for $799? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
