The recent version of Google Chrome known as "Google Chrome 55" is said to significantly cut down on Random Access Memory (RAM) because of a new Javascript engine of up to 50 percent. Google Chrome admittedly uses a lot of memory in a user's machine so "Google Chrome 55" is the answer to this.
Chrome has done many updates over the past year to reduce the memory storage but the browser still has a lot of work needed. This is where "Google Chrome 55" comes to play. "Google Chrome 55" is said to cut down its memory usage of up to 50 percent. This is primarily because of an updated Javascript V8 Engine taking care of reducing zone memory. Chrome with its new "Google Chrome 55" also improved the garbage collector feature that wipes out unused memory according to Techspot.
In a post recently shared by Digital Trends, "Google Chrome 55" was compared to its current version Chrome 33 by visiting sites like Imgur, Reddit and The New York Times. Tests did return very impressive results and indeed "Google Chrome 55" delivers. The latest update will be released on December 6, 2016.
Google Chrome users will just have to wait for few more months before taking advantage of the recent development of "Google Chrome 55". Since this is few more months away, Google Users are suggested to do constantly free memory by always closing out all tasks in Chrome's Task Manager. It is best to look for resources not being often utilized such as videos and end it.
It is also best to open tabs to its most minimum and close the ones that are not used and to avoid running multiple apps at once. To ensure that ample memory is restored, reset it to Chrome's browser settings for it to perform the way it did when it was first installed. This should take care of the memory space all users need before "Google Chrome 55" is officially launched on December.
