During the premiere night of his latest movie 'The Accountant' in Los Angeles, Jennifer Garner was praised by her ex-husband Ben Affleck for being a great mom to their kids. Affleck and Garner have stayed friends since their split and have been co-parenting their kids.
The update was brought up when Affleck was asked about co-parenting with ex-wife Garner and how things go in their household. In an interview with Extra, he said that Garner was a great mom to their kids. He was also impressed by everything she has been doing which is stumping for Hillary Clinton in Reno and doing what she believes in, which Affleck thought was great and awesome.
On being a parent, Garner just wishes their three kids are watching her and paying attention to her good example and her missteps, according to Today. She told Today that she tries to be the best version of herself and have faith that their kids are watching her as carefully when she does something right as the kids do when she rolls through a stop mark.
Though the actress is working hard in preparing her children for the real world, she also opened up via Today her worries of the effect of technology on her kids, especially her oldest daughter, Violet, who's a preteen. She said to Today that Violet does not have any gadgets yet and the only child in her class who does not own, apparently. She added that her daughter is not on social media yet, but she knew it is coming soon.
When asked how serious she takes the motherhood role, Garner said she gives all she can. "Parenting is about...you can't buy parenting, no matter what," the actress said to IBT. "You have to actually get down on the floor and spend some time together."
Meanwhile, Affleck also revealed in an interview with ET that they do their best to make co-parenting work. "We try our best," he told ET's Lauren Zima.
