The second episode of "Madam Secretary" Season 3 will rattle not just Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) but also her husband Henry (Tim Daly) and their three children, Stephanie "Stevie" (Wallis Currie-Wood), Alison (Kathrine Herzer), and Jason (Evan Roe). Both professional and personal threats are coming towards the family of five's way.
Episode two of "Madam Secretary" titled "The Linchpin" will showcase Elizabeth working on a peaceful regime change as the threat of an impending civil war looms over Algeria, Spoiler TV reported. This, however, does not go according to plan when the trusted U.S. Ambassador to Algeria, Roy Curtis (Dakin Matthews), dies suddenly.
Henry, on the other hand, attempts to salvage stolen religious antiquities in Algeria with the assistance of Jose (Carlos Gómez). Henry discovers that the relics are being destroyed by the terrorist group Hizb al-Shahid.
Elizabeth and Henry's predicaments don't stop in their professional lives. Episode two of "Madam Secretary" will also feature the couple's children in peril after Jason's laptop was stolen and hacked. In the promo for the upcoming episode, Elizabeth was seen holding a paper with the words "We can get to your family anytime" written on it by the mysterious stalker.
The still unknown threat to the McCord family has been watching them, especially the children, for quite some time now. This intimidation pushes Elizabeth and Henry to get security detail for their kids and seek the help of FBI Director Keith Doherty (Michael Boatman), who will work on getting to the bottom of Jason's hacked laptop.
James Brown will guest star on "Madam Secretary" in its October 30 episode titled "The Dissent Memo," CarterMatt reported. Brown will portray himself in the series. In future "Madam Secretary" episodes, Russell (Željko Ivanek) will also seek Elizabeth's help so President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine) will be on the ballot in Ohio.
