On the other hand, the "World of Warcraft" game director Tom Chilton is now moving out of the game as per Gamasutra reported. After a decade of his service in the MMO genre, he will be transferred to a new project, which is still under the Blizzard Entertainment.
Tom Chilton's departure from the "World of Warcraft" was announced on the Battle Net Forums. Chilton mentioned that he will be moving to a new unnamed Blizzard project.
Before Tom Chilton left the "World of Warcraft," the "WoW" Legion expansion that he made was a massive hit. The "WoW" Legion sold over $3 million copies within the first 24 hours of its release. This eventually proves that the MMORPG is still kicking. This is a great new for Blizzard since the last highest sold copies of the "World of Warcraft" was back in 2010 with the Cataclysm expansion.
