"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 is adding another cast member, albeit for just a temporary role. Missy Peregrym has booked a guest star role in the hit American action police procedural on CBS. Meanwhile, Alex O'Loughlin has shared some details about his impending exit from H50.
Missy Peregrym, who is known for her role in "Rookie Blue," is going to appear in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 Episode 10, as reported by TVLine. The report has revealed that the 34-year-old actress will be portraying as Bridget, the sister of Danny Williams (Scott Caan).
H50 spoilers tease that Bridget will be visiting Hawaii for a corporate retreat; she and husband and kids are living in New York. Missy Peregrym's Bridget's appearance in a formal setting would show her brother a totally different aspect of her personality that Danny Williams has never seen before.
Missy Peregrym has recently joined "Motive" in a guest star appearance. Some of her other popular credits include "Stick It," "Reaper," "Heroes," and "Life As We Know It."
In a related casting news, Alex O'Loughlin has decided to leave "Hawaii Five-0" and Season 7 is going to the penultimate for him. The actor, who plays Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett, has signed a contract for the series until its eighth season next year.
Alex O'Loughlin attributed his departure from "Hawaii Five-0" to his physical health. "I've taken so many physical hits on this show, my back is pretty bad and I've got a lot of fixing I've got to do. I've got to fix my body," the 40-year-old actor said, as reported by News.com.au.
With Alex O'Loughlin having an end date for his "Hawaii Five-0" stay, it looks like his partnership with Danny Williams in the show is going to be in jeopardy. The questions would now revolve on whether Steve will be recast or Danny would get a new partner or "Hawaii Five-0" Season 8 would be the show's finale.
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 airs every Friday at 9/8c on CBS.
