Amidst the anticipation for the rumored intense season, seven premiere of 'The Walking Dead' comes another surprising news from the show's creators. This early and a week before season seven of "The Walking Dead" hits the screens, AMC confirmed that there will surely be a season 8.
A post from the official site of AMC shows that the confirmation for the renewal came from the president of AMC studios himself, Charlie Collier. In the post, Collier expressed how much he appreciates the hard work of the cast and crew of "The Walking Dead" such as Scott Gimple and Robert Kirkman. Likewise, Collier did not forget to thank the fans for continued patronage.
As the seventh season of "The Walking Dead" is set to return on the tube on October 23, followers of the series can expect the eight season to start towards the last quarter of 2017. Interestingly, "The Walking Dead" season eight opener will coincidentally marks the 100th episode of the series.
As reported in an article by Slash Film, the renewal of the suspense thriller also seals another 16 episodes, for "The Talking Dead." This show hosted by Chris Hardwick which immediately follows each episode of "The Walking Dead" currently holds the top spot for the highest-rated talk show on TV.
No one would argue that "The Walking Dead" is one of the most popular TV series of today and with too much going on in the show lately, fans will be crazy to miss the premiere episode of season seven.
