Samantha Brown's family is complete. The 42-year-old American television host and husband Kevin O'Leary welcomed their twins, a son and daughter Thursday, last week, in New York. The new parents have named their twins Ellis James and Elizabeth Mae.
The travel channel host announced the news on Facebook.
"The babies are here! Please welcome Ellis James 6lbs10ozs and Elizabeth Mae 5lbs12ozs. Everyone is healthy and doing great! Pics soon!" the proud mom wrote.
Fans of the celebrity star welcomed the news and congratulated the new mom over the arrival of her babies.
"O M GGGGG twins???? lol lol God bless you and your family!!! I can't wait for your first trip on DISNEY CRUISE LINE and I hope I am sailing that trip. love you!! Xo" one of the fans wrote, while another one added, "Congradulations Sam:) Here's to many sleepless nights and wonderful memories."
Brown later shared her happiness with People magazine and revealed her future plans.
"We are so happy with the birth of our beautiful twins," Brown told the magazine. "I will be going back on the road as soon as we can, so baby passports here we come!"
Brown, who started her career with commercials, married O'Leary in 2006 and announced pregnancy in September 2012.
"Special Announcement!" Brown wrote on her Facebook page, Sep. 13.
"We have waited such awhile for the love of a child But our path faced strong headwinds Our troubles have past and now, at long last Our joy doubled, we're expecting twins!!!! -Samantha & Kevin," Brown wrote, after posing with her husband with two pairs of shoes - blue and pink.
Brown became popular after she joined Travel Channel in 2000, and for hosting shows like "Girl Meets Hawaii", "Passport to China" and "Samantha Brown's Asia".
