During the last episode of "The Exorcist," Casey was found attacking a man on the train and when her father shouted, she stopped. Father Tomas (played by Alfonso Herrera) showed up and told the Rance's family that the church didn't allow him to perform an exorcism. However, Father Tomas was smart enough to ask permission from his newly met parishioner who gave him a whopping $100,000.
Meanwhile, "The Exorcist" Season 1 Episode 4 also showed Father Marcus, who was ex-communicated by the church, was sent by Father Bennett to a few people on the list written on a paper. Father Marcus ended up at a nun's convention where the nuns perform an exorcism in a different way. This episode of "The Exorcist" has revealed another way to perform an exorcism, showing love and compassion to a possessed man by a demon, according to Observer.
Before Marcus went back to the nunnery, "The Exorcist" also revealed another one on Marcus' list, which was a murder bus tour with the paranormal experts. The experts have told Marcus that they believe that the violence that has been happening in Chicago is quite an introduction that can lead to a massive chaos.
"The Exorcist" cast, Father Tomas and Marcus, have come to a conclusion that they will do an exorcism to Casey. Before the episode ended, Casey was released in the hospital following The Salesman threatening her by killing one of the nurses. In the end, Casey went home, and Father Tomas and Marcus have started preparing for an exorcism act.
The next episode of "The Exorcist" is set to show an exorcism practice following Casey's possession of the devil. Episode five of "The Exorcist" is set to begin on Oct. 21 on FOX, according to IMDB.
