Teen viewers still stunned by the magic of Disney movies, as of a latest survey funded by the famous Piper Jaffray. The survey among 10,000 American teenagers, released last Friday, Oct. 14, by Piper Jaffray, showed that Disney movies dominated the list of most anticipated movies among teenagers.
The survey, known as The Taking Stock With Teens, found out that teenagers favored more movies produced by Disney Studio as their most anticipated movies in this year. The Disney Studio movies, according to the survey, preferred by teens as their most awaited movies this year were "Rogue One," "Beauty and the Beast," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Thor" and "Doctor Strange".
The analysts of the survey said that the survey points to another solid 12 months for Disney Studio, as of a report in the Business Insider. They added that "Disney films dominated the most anticipated list with 'Rogue One,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' 'Thor,' and 'Doctor Strange' taking the No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4, No. 6, No. 7 spots."
Piper Jaffray survey also discovered that 37 percent of U.S. teenagers daily watched Netflix, which will be the exclusive U.S. pay TV home of the newest movies produced from Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm and marvel, as announced by Netflix according to Business Insider. "From September onwards, Netflix will become the exclusive U.S. pay TV home of the latest films from Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar," according to Netflix. Netflix is indeed a perfect place for Disney Studio to display their movies as it's the top viewed video service among teenagers, as of the survey.
A semi-yearly research project, the Taking Stock With Teens survey is composed of collected data from around 10,000 teenagers with an average age of 16-year-old. The teenagers' fashion trends, spending patterns and media and brand favorites were evaluated by surveying a geographically varied subgroup of high school students all over the United States.
