'Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3 will finally launch, but not on January 27, 2017. The game developer "CI Games" announced they will be pushing the release date for another 10 more weeks, and that will be on April 4, 2017, hopefully.
As the Polygon said, we should not forget that the "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3 was announced in the quarter of 2014, revealing that the release date will be somewhere in 2016. Unfortunately, due to some minor graphic issues, "CI Games" admitted that the "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3 is not ready yet to launch and eventually moved in January of 2017.
In a report made by the IGN, "CI Games" CEO Marek Tymiński admitted that what they are creating is not just a simple 1st-person shooter game, an ambitious game needs to extend more time to make it smoother before launch. Tymiński added that their development team is really working hard to polish the "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3 before hitting the market.
The "CI Games" also cited that the "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3 is their biggest project as of the moment, that is why they really want to make it the greatest sniping game according to Gamespot. The "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3 will be launched on Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
Several game critics are speculating that "CI Games" are getting very cautious right now, the fact that the first 2 sequel of the "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" was considered to be a not so very successful release.
Both "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" first 2 sequels received an aggregate score not more than 56%. Something that "CI Games" doesn't want to receive again with the upcoming "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3.
The "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3 will be far more different from its predecessors. "Sniper: Ghost Warrior" 3 will feature an open-world map and player will now be utilizing a new high-tech equipment recon drones.
