Kristen Bell of "House of Lies" is enjoying her period of pregnancy. The 32-year-old expecting actress, who flaunted her baby bump at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City last week, talked about her pregnancy experiences with the media.
"I'm feeling great," Bell told Us Weekly, after affectionately touching her baby bump.
However, the actress later revealed to Ellen DeGeneres her ideas and worries about giving birth.
"I feel like, when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back and I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it's over because I've seen the videos-and it looks terrifying," E! News quoted Bell as saying.
The mom-to-be, who is expecting her first child in spring, earlier opened up with Entertainment Weekly about the mood swings after conceiving her first child.
''You kind of go brain dead when you're pregnant. You're kind of in a Dopamine phase. I'm kind of happy all the time, and dumb," azcentral.com quoted Bell telling the magazine. ''This is without question the biggest transition I'll make in my life to date.''
During the chat, she also revealed the struggle she is undergoing to conceal her pregnancy on "House of Lies".
''They are always trying to hide my pregnancy [on the show]. I'm always hiding behind a box, or a purse," the actress said, according to azcentral.com. ''I love working on that show more than I can possibly explain... We'll stop filming around February 12, around Valentine's Day, so I'll have a little bit of pregnancy time after.''
This is the first child of Bell with fiancé Dax Shepard, who she started dating in 2007. Shepard and Bell, who got engaged in 2010, announced their plan to stay unmarried until the state of California made same-sex marriage legal.
Bell started her acting career as Becky Thatcher in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" in 2001 and grabbed many awards including Satellite Award and Saturn Award. She is currently playing the female lead role on television series "House of Lies".
Shepard, who appeared with Jessica Simpson in "Employee of the Month", also co-starred in "Let's Go to Prison" and "Baby Mama." Presently, the actor is playing a lead role in NBC's "Parenthood."
