"Stranger Things" Season 1 has been a huge success for the giant streaming company, Netflix. "Stranger Things 2" is on the line with filming, and Netflix has added two new faces in the show. Hawkins, Indiana, is set to be a bigger crowd.
Netflix and creators of "Stranger Things" have added Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery to be series regulars. "Stranger Things 2" will feature Sadie Sink as Max and Dacre Montgomery as Billy, according to E! Online.
Sadie Sink is set to play a role as a tough girl with interests similar to the boys during the '80s era, in short, a tomboy. Sadie Sink as Max has a complicated history and has become suspicious of things around her.
On the other hand, Dacre Montgomery is set to play the step-brother who's beyond confident, awesome at drinking games, a womanizer attitude and drives a Camaro. However, Billy has a nature of violence and being unpredictable at times. Dacre Montgomery is also a part of the cast of the upcoming film, "Power Rangers".
"Stranger Things Season 2" new cast additions are yet to finish as the creators are still looking for one more actor to play the role of Roman. Roman is set to be either a man or a woman in between the ages of 30 and 38.
Mike Wheeler of "Stranger Things," Finn Wolfhard has expressed his excitement on Twitter by welcoming the two new members of the show. Finn has also responded to the backlash on Twitter about the new cast by mentioning that none have seen anything yet from "Stranger Things 2."
In addition to the news of the new cast of "Stranger Things 2," Steve Harrington (plays by Joe Kerry) and Will Byers (plays by Noah Schnapps) are both now series regulars, according to Elle AU. Both actors will be seen more in the upcoming "Stranger Things 2." Netflix will launch "Stranger Things 2" in 2017 and has already released a trailer alongside with the titles of nine episodes.
