The cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" will be adapted into the TV screen by Fox. It was originally a musical production, but it was adapted into a film in 1975. Now its making a comeback and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" 2016 will be showing this coming October.
During an interview with The Washington Times, two of the original members of "The Rocky Horror" namely Nell Campbell and Patricia Quinn shared some of their thoughts regarding the show as well as "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" 2016. Campbell played the role of Columbia while Quinn played the role of Magenta in the 1975 cult classic.
"The Rocky Horror" stars approve of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" 2016 that Fox TV is producing. They think that it will be fun to watch "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and that people will be reminded of the original characters before. Campbell and Quinn won't be involved with the 2016 remake but Tim Curry, also known for his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, will be the narrator.
The cult classic film was released 41 years ago but fans still keep rewatching it and new generations still stumble upon it. Campbell and Quinn feel that "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" 2016 will still be relevant today with its playful but inoffensive way of showing rock 'n' roll, sex, and drugs. Moreover, the songs on "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" 2016, similar to the cult classic, should be magnificent and is just simply funny and filled with strange yet endearing characters.
"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" 2016 would feature the story of a newly engaged couple Brad and Janet who stumble upon Dr. Frank-N-Furter's mansion while looking for shelter from the rain, as described by Theater Mania. The doctor together with his servants tries to bring life to the creature named Rocky. The chaste couple lose their innocence as other characters try to seduce them and as they explore their sexuality.
Fox TV will air the premiere of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" 2016 this October 21. The new cast of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" 2016 will include stars such as Victoria Justice, Ryan McCartan, Christina Milian, Laverne Cox, Adam Lambert, Staz Nair, Annaleigh Ashford, Reeve Carney, and also Tim Curry.
