Must-Watch: ‘The Price Is Right’ Contestants Made TV History With An Extraordinary Moment

One of the longest running TV show in America, "The Price is Right" captured an extraordinary moment during its Oct 17 episode when three contestants hit the coveted $1.00 mark. Currently, "The Price is Right" is already on its 45th season, the unbelievable stroke of luck is a first in the long history of "The Price is Right.".

In that unforgettable, "The Price is Right" episode, the first contestant had to make two spins before hitting the $1.00 mark. Incidentally, the next "The Price is Right" player got $1.00 as well. By this time, the contestants, as well as the audience, are already on the edge of their seats to see if the third contestant will hit $1.00 too.

Then it happened for everyone to see - the third "The Price is Right" player did not disappoint by hitting the same $1.00 mark! As expected, the amazing moment got the crowd cheering wildly as the three players of "The Price is Right" embraced and jumped up and down with joy. Even the host of "The Price is Right," Drew Carey, was not able to hide his astonishment as he raised his fist in the air and shouted, "Three-way tie!"

According to the rules of "The Price is Right," the three fortunate contestants won $1000 each plus given another chance to spin and walk away with additional $25,000. A post from CBS reported that in the final showcase round of "The Price is Right", the guy contestant wearing a yellow shirt, Manfred, went on to win a car and a cruise.

During the episode, Drew Carey wondered if something similar has happened in the previous episodes of "The Price is Right". Apparently yes, as an article posted in SB Nation said that 25 years ago in a 1991 "The Price is Right" episode, three contestants all spun $100.
