Michael Bublé announced he and his wife are expecting their first child. The singer made this announcement through a YouTube video.
Bublé always wanted to be a dad and have lots of kids, but he was just waiting for the perfect time. Seems it's finally arrived. The 37-year-old singer announced that he and his wife, Argentinean actress Luisana Lopilato are expecting their first child. He made the announcement through a YouTube message, Thursday.
"Mike, Lu and ... mini Bublé!!" the clip rolls, opening on an ultrasound image. "We're having a baby Bublé!"
The couple has always been very straightforward and open about their plans to have kids.
"I've said to her a million times I'd love to have kids," Bublé said in October 2011, according to a report by People magazine. "But I always say to her when you're ready - when you feel like you've lived and you've partied and done all the things you want to do. When you've worked your butt off, then tell me."
Bublé and Lopilato met in November 2008 at a party thrown by Bublé's record company after one of his concerts in Buenos Aires. The pair was engaged in Argentina in 2009, after which Bublé wrote the song "Haven't Met You Yet" for her. Lopilato also appeared in the music video of the song.
The couple married March 31, 2011 in Buenos Aires and now they are looking forward to add a third member to their small but happy family.
