Many Apple fanatics and supporters have been endlessly talking about versions of different Mac products quite recently (MacbookAir, MacBook and MacBook Pro). All speculations are now coming to a close as Apple will officially announce and release the latest and updated versions of MacBook Air, MacBook and MacBook Pro line on Oct. 27.
According to Tech Crunch, Apple typically announces their new and most recent releases on a Tuesday or Wednesday, so they are not sticking to what was considered a tradition by doing this event on a Thursday. The event should cover the updated MacBook Air, MacBook and MacBook Pro that users have long been waiting for with much anticipation and excitement.
It is reported that the said event will finally end the rumors and either dismiss or confirm leaks released early on. It will officially have detailed presentation of each of their laptops- MacBook Air, MacBook and MacBook Pro. MacBook Air 13-inch model with USB ports and new MacBook Pro with a digital display on top of the keyboard and Skylake processors should be discussed.
It is also speculated that new iMacs may make an appearance as well. There may be a standalone 5k monitor to replace the Thunderbolt display. The updated Mac products may have internal GPU which would enable MacBooks or older Mac versions to a significantly higher resolution.
As added by 9 to 5 Mac, Apple will discontinue the release of 11-inch MacBook Air to give way to the production of 12-inch MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Air. While the look and touch for both MacBook Air and MacBook will remain the same, it is reported that it will have an upgraded USB support.
Since MacBook Pro had no serious makeover for the past four years, this year could end it. The MacBook Pro will be thinner and lighter compared to the previous releases. It is also expected that MacBook Pro's overall footprint will be smaller and the trackpad slightly larger. MagSafe will no longer be used as charging for MacBook Pro will be done through USB charging.
Though there have been no official press invites sent out for the October 2016 release of the updated MacBook Air, MacBook and MacBook Pro, it is believed that the external display will be the star of the show this coming October launch. Press invites should be available at least a week before the said event.
