Golden State Warriors retain its record of being the most favorite of all in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the year 2016-2017, says general manager of the league. After they lost the finals in 2015, Cleveland Cavaliers and Lebron James headed back to the top whopping 69 percent of GM's poll.
After GSW lost the finals against Cavs, they tried to strengthen their squad with the help of Oklahoma City Thunders' Kevin Durant. Unfortunately, only 31 percent of GM's poll from Cleveland Cavaliers and Lebron James is added to Golden State Warriors.
Inquirer, net reported that Golden State Stellar was considered one of the most likely fun to watch who gained 93.3 percent of the votes. Moreover, it's not a surprise that Cavs and Golden State Warriors are still the favorite of all time, both top with 96.7 percent. Karl-Anthony Towns of Minnesota, on the other hand, was considered the most coveted player in the league.
In this regard, Cleveland's talisman James was still the MVP of the season with 46.7 percent of the votes much higher than Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook with 23 percent. Both Houston's James Harden and Golden State Warrior's Stephen Curry got the third place with 10 percent.
Apparently, there are rumours that Golden State Warriors will showcase Kevin Durant over the summer. A good credit for Golden State Warriors team, for they not only have the back-to-back MVP Stephen Curry but they now have Kevin Durant as well.
GSW had to give up a lot just to have Durant on their team in order to strengthen the lineup. Apart from having Durant in the team the Golden State Warriors also plans to acquire Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets via trade.
However, rChatt Sports Nett reiterates that Durant and Curry might have to compromise financially if Golden State Warriors want Faried to stay with the team until next year. It seems that Faried-Iguodala trade had to do with financial issues if the said report will be considered.
