Since Google rolled out its flagship Android phone on their event last Oct. 4, 2016, many people line up in stores.New reports suggest that the 128GB Google Pixel XL is now sold out starting Thursday.
According to Jeffrey Nelson, lead external communications of Verizon said in his tweet, "4/6 NEWS! Initial inventory of Pixel XL 128GB is SOLD OUT...NOT in stores Thurs. All other models in stock. Get to Verizon early!"
Not only is Google Pixel XL not available at Verizon, Google Web Store say that they are also out of stock for the product. Reports from Android Headlines show that for those who ordered the 128GB Pixel XL, customers will have to wait until next month for the scheduled shipment.
However, to not disappoint, the 32GB internal storage phones are still available in stores. Customers are now left thinking whether they should choose storage or just settle for a smaller version of the Pixel.
The Pixel XL exceeded expectations with its wide 5.5inch phone size, quad-core Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with a 4GB RAM, an impressive 12.3MP with f/2.0 aperture in its cameras, a good video stabilizer, built-in Google Assistant in the system and an incredible 3440 mAh battery lifespan.
Because of its fantastic features, people got curious and started to buy one. Sales prediction show that the company will ship between 3 million to 4 million stocks before the end of 2016. This is according to analysts at market research firm DigiTimes.
With Pixel XL stocks already running out early this quarter, Google should be on track with their target. With the holiday season that's coming up, this could trigger a spike in Google's sales report.
Google Pixel starts at $650 while the Pixel XL at $770. The products will once again be available in stores on Nov. 18, 2016.
