'Limitless' Season 2 News & Update: Netflix And Amazon Decline Renewal? Bradley Cooper Invites Lady Gaga To Save The Series?

"Limitless" somehow failed to reach out to the audience on its first season resulting in really low ratings. The creator of "Limitless", Craig Sweeny, confirms its cancellation after season one finale.

Most of "Limitless" crew and cast have been working hard to save the show yet updates about the premiere of its second installment have not been decided. "Limitless" stars like Bradley Cooper and other producers have been doing their negotiations with other networks desperately hoping to continue "Limitless" Season 2.

"Limitless" producers have been in contact with Netflix which is famous for taking canceled shows by other networks. If the negotiation had been finalized, this could have saved "Limitless" Season 2. Reports have it that followers of "Limitless" will halt their Netflix subscription if the company will not pick up the program.

In other reports, "Limitless" producers set a meeting with Amazon Video to discuss their collaboration. Sadly, they were not able to convince the honchos to buy the rights to the series and pickup "Limitless" Season 2.

Rumors have been going around saying that these streaming companies had to turn down the offer from "Limitless" executive producers due to its controversial issue about drugs. The dangerous NZT drug is featured in the series' plot.

Consequently, if these firms will accept the offer and support "Limitless" they'd be the next target of some prying eyes and ears. Also, buying the "Limitless" rights will seem to be supporting the drug and it will not be favorable to the series' watchers most especially the youth.

What do you think will happen next? If you are hoping for "Limitless" to continue, you must know that Bradley Cooper has been negotiating with a-list actors and actresses, including Lady Gaga, to join "Limitless" Season 2.

Word goes around that Cooper has asked Lady Gaga to join the "Limitless" cast and save the series. If this pushes through, will "Limitless" have the chance to be taken by other networks?

Both stars have not released any statements to confirm the speculations. Let's wait and see.
