The new novel is suggested to tell the story of Uchiha Itachi's past, one of the memorable villains in the hit "Naruto Shippuden." "Naruto: Itachi's Story" is said to be a two-part book that is expected to be published in English.
"Naruto: Itachi's Story" novel was written by Takashi Yano. The book is said to be distributed in digital and print editions. "Naruto: Itachi's Story" followed the three other spin-off novels released by Viz Media, the "Kakashi," "Sakura" and "Shikamaru" novels.
"Naruto: Itachi's Story" is suggested to reveal the reason why Itachi betrayed Konoha. The plot is reportedly set before the events of the manga "Naruto Shippuden." "Naruto: Itachi's Story" is also believed to deal with the events that lead Itachi to join Akatsuki, iDigitalTimes reported.
Itachi dreams to become the first Uchiha Hokage and wants to free the world from violence in "Naruto Shippuden" manga. His motives also caused him conflicts with the ninjas of Konoha, including his younger brother Sasuke, the only person he spared when he killed the entire Uchiha clan. More of his interests and plans that led him to killing his clan are believed to be discussed in "Naruto: Itachi's Story" as well.
"Naruto: Itachi's Story" book is expected to sell at $10.99 in the United States. The book's digital edition is available at $6.99. "Naruto: Itachi's Story" is said to come with an original cover art illustrated by no other than the creator of "Naruto Shippuden," Masashi Kishimoto, AnimeNewsNetwork reported.
