Movie News Guide reveals that as promised by CBS, the show will air this Oct. 26 for Episode 4 titled "Keeper." Teasers indicate that it could be a Halloween themed episode wherein the BAU team might be dealing with a monster creature.
In the episode, it will reveal a mysterious serial killer who has already slain seven people somewhere in Appalachian Trail, which is a remote part of Virginia. The gory murders will bring back former Behavioural Analysis Unit member Emily Prentiss, played by actress Paget Brewster.
On this nail-biting episode for "Criminal Minds" Season 12, she will help Aaron Hotch to investigate and hunt down the murderer. The scene is expected to be suspense-driven leaving the whole search operation team perplexed as they try to trace the modus of the killer.
Fighting against time, the BAU is doing every possible way to crack this case. The big question is, are they dealing with a monstrous human being or a strange creature?
Other news indicates that fan favourite character Aaron Hotchner played by Thomas Gibson will no longer be part of the show. According to reports, the actor was fired after he had an argument with the show's writer. International Business times reported that Episode 2 was the last appearance of Gibson in the long-running series.
