On Friday, during the San Diego Comic-Con, fans of the hit show "The Walking Dead" were given a treat.
The official trailer for the AMC show's sixth season was revealed, reported The Huffington Post and in terms of action, suspense and chaos, and it doesn't disappoint. The four-minute long teaser footage showed what can be expected from the nail-biting series and it shows that Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) isn't the most liked person in Alexandria right now.
Following the events of the fifth season, Rick doesn't seem to be everyone's favorite and he looks to be on the path of a head-to-head battle with his former friend and ally, Morgan (Lennie James).
Vox.com also notes that Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) and Morgan may be teaming up and everyone's favorite Daryl (Norman Reedus) could be in a lot of trouble with the Wolves.
On the same day that the trailer was released, the cast members of the show were present in a panel where Melissa McBride, who plays Carol on the show confirmed (via Jezebel) that the Wolves are a definite threat.
"Everything is fuelled by the loss of people, that's why she's doing what she's doing. She can't stand around and watch people die. She's ready to pay the price... and do whatever she can to help people."
Speaking on the rocky season 5 finish between Morgan and Rick, James explains the relationship of the two characters and their upcoming falling out.
"Morgan and Rick have a particular kind of man love - the fact that he's gone to find Rick, who is the last person left on the planet who knows Morgan. Everyone else who knows Morgan is gone... which is why he goes to find him. Morgan is aware of the effect Rick has had on him... [And seeing him kill someone], there's going to be fallout."
"I know Rick. I can stop him," said Morgan in the trailer below. "Do you have any idea who you are talking to?" Rick says to Morgan.
Other cast members set to appear in the new season were included in recently released images. Stars include Michael Cudlitz as Abraham, Josh McDermitt as Eugene, Alanna Masterson as Tara, Christian Serratos as Rosita,Chandler Riggs as Carl, Danai Gurira as Michonne, Sonequa Martin-Green as Sasha, Lauren Cohan as Maggie, Steven Yeun as Glenn and many others, reported E!.
