"The Originals" Season 4 is suggested to see a five-year time jump from the events of the previous season. However, Klaus is still expected to be paralyzed because of Papa Tunde's (Owiso Odera) blade stuck in his chest. Fortunately, the latest rumor mill surrounding "The Originals" Season 4 suggests that Hope (Summer Fontana) who would be seven years old as the new season begins will be the one to free Klaus from his current condition.
"The Originals" Season 4 is said to follow Hope as she unleashes a supernatural power that could remove Klaus from the spell of Papa Tunde's blade. This could apparently revive Klaus from being comatose, Vine Report reported. The theory seems possible as it can be noted that Hope is a hybrid werewolf, vampire and witch that could make her more powerful than the others.
"The Originals" Season 4 previous rumors claimed that Caroline (Candice Accola) may cross over from The Vampire Diaries to see Klaus. However, the rumors have been debunked by "The Originals" Executive Producer Michael Narducci. In an interview with Narducci, he said, "I don't want to speak for what they're doing on [The Vampire Diaries], but it certainly seemed like Klaus was saying to Caroline that he would always care for her and respect her, but that he understood she had moved on," TV Line reported.
Narducci's statement was an answer to the question on what could have transpired in the call between Klaus and Caroline from the previous season of The Vampire Diaries. Fans of "The Originals" still reportedly hope that Klaroline may still be possible. However, given Narducci's statement, there is more possibility that the two may have already moved on and that they may no longer relive their love story.
