The Barden Bellas on "Pitch Perfect 3" is complete. Its lead original members have all signed up for the third installment, with Anna Camp recently confirming that she's also part of the upcoming film. The musical comedy is set for release in December 2017. However, it's still unclear when production will exactly start given the actors' busy schedules.
Anna Camp has been confirmed to join her fellow Barden Bellas -- Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson and Hailee Steinfeld -- in "Pitch Perfect 3." The actress posted the announcement on Twitter by sharing a photo of her character, Aubrey Posen, uttering her famous words, "Aca-scuse me?"
Anna Camp's Aubrey Posen was already a Barden graduate and was shown to be working in a special camp in "Pitch Perfect 2," where she helped the Bellas train. Though she briefly appeared in the second movie, she was instrumental in the Bellas coming together again. Will she be doing the same thing in "Pitch Perfect 3"? The details to her exact participation have not yet been revealed.
The rest of the Barden Bellas, with the exception of Hailee Steinfeld's Emily Junk, have also been shown to have graduated Barden University in the last "Pitch Perfect." Hence, it looks like "Pitch Perfect 3" could be unrelated to college a Capella competition as it did in the previous installments.
The Hollywood Reporter points out, "Pitch Perfect 3" carries the tagline "Get ready to have a Merry Pitchmas" when the studio confirmed its December 2017 release. Entertainment Weekly reports that there is still no word on what "Pitch Perfect 3" will be about. However, fans should love to see the reunion of the Bellas on the big screen again.
Meanwhile, what "Pitch Perfect 3" should hopefully confirm next is the participation of the boys in the upcoming movie as the return of Adam DeVine and Skylar Astin remains uncertain. Skyler Astin himself said that he might not be asked for "Pitch Perfect 3," as previously reported on Parent Herald.
