New Couple Alert! Demi Lovato and John Mayer Spotted Hanging Out

It seems that Demi Lovato is finally over her breakup from longtime beau Wilmer Valderrama. The "Skyscraper" songstress was spotted with none other than John Mayer at the hip hangout Catch LA in West Hollywood.

The 24-year-old "Heart Attack" singer came at the venue wearing a leopard print ensemble while the 39-year-old "Gravity" guitar player and singer was wearing a casual white shirt, jeans, and Hawaiian print jacket.

According to US Weekly, the duo arrived separately in the venue and did not leave at the same time. But when they were at the hangout, it seems that they could not be separated. John Mayer was seen with his arms around Demi, according to eyewitnesses, and the latter was very responsive to John.

The two have never been linked before since Demi was in a relationship with "That 70's Show" actor Wilmer Valderrama from 2010 - 2016. Meanwhile, John, a perennial ladies man, has been linked to famous women such as Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift, and the latest, Katy Perry, who he has been linked to on and off since 2012, before finally ending the relationship last year.

Although John and Demi have never been linked together, Daily Mail reports they did have a cute Twitter interaction in 2009, with John complimenting Demi's song, calling it "sophisticated." Demi responds with appreciation, proclaiming that it was probably one of the best compliments she has ever received since starting in the business.

The pair actually went on to collaborate on the song "World of Chances", which was released in Demi's second album. This previous collaboration may prove to be good for the would-be couple, it establishes that they have a previous interaction, and it's clear that they greatly admire each other's musical talents.

Maybe this means that another Mayer-Lovato song is in the works in the near future. That's surely something to look forward to!
